Partnership with Upper Lynn Elementary

The North Vancouver School District has been journeying with us since our beta versions to bring Active Textbook to some of their students and teachers. A group of highly dedicated and innovative teachers, motivated to reach their students through technology, are pioneering the effort to compose and deliver their own interactive learning modules through Active Textbook. To an audience where point-and-click is a norm, they are meeting students in their terms and bringing learning closer.

In addition to our currently running projects which allowed select teachers and their students to use Active Textbook, we have begun a new initiative which opens access to Active Textbook on a school-wide scale with Upper Lynn Elementary. We customized the product to meet Upper Lynn Elementary’s specific needs and launched a dedicated Active Textbook server for the school. We look forward to working together with teachers at Upper Lynn to bring an effective means of creating and delivering educational materials online.
